Altmore Infant School

Assemblies

At Altmore we have a KS1 assembly everyday:-

Whole Year Group Attendance Assembly - Every Monday the Assistant Headteacher linked to the year group talks to the Year Group about the importance of coming to school everyday and announces the attendance percentages for the previous week for each class.

Altmore Achiever Assembly - Friday is our Year Group Altmore Achiever Assembly. At this assembly the Year Group meets together in the main hall with the Head of School to share experiences, rewards and successes.  Reasons for the awards range from being kind, trying very hard to excellent pieces of work across the curriculum.

Class Assembly - These assemblies are set out each term and coincide with major National and International events and Religious Celebrations.  These include Remembrance, Harvest and charitable events such as Children in Need.  These assemblies often have a moral purpose to enrich our children and keep them safe.  Assemblies are also a time for us to reflect on certain issues such as anti-bullying, mental health awareness and protection from cybercrime.
